Our Site Assessment models evaluate the likely performance in both stable and unstable wind flows. We use analysis of actual wind phenomena and performance data input from 26,000 MW of installed Vestas turbines around the world. This is monitored at our Performance and Diagnostic Centre in Denmark. But what about sites where there are more complex conditions? No problem. We use Computational Fluid Dynamics to give us the information we need to reduce performance risks. The state-of-the-art technology that easily performs these complex modeling tasks? Our Jetstream SuperComputer, which provides us with rapid evaluation of all forecast scenarios.
